Mobile Operator in Africa awards Mobile-Technologies to deliver its end-to-end eKYC and customer onboarding solution
Another Telecom operator in Africa has entrusted Mobile-Technologies to provide a digital solution to manage the end-to-end registration process, covering onboarding new customers and storing customer identification information. The telecom operator offers both mobile communication services and mobile financial services and is the market leader in a market in Southern Africa, as well as part of a larger telecom and financial services provider group, with a footprint and affiliates across several markets in Africa.
The solution, built on iRM (intelligent Registration Management) and Document Handler (a Document Management system for KYC data) will enable the operator to build a digital, easy-to-use, and regulatory-compliant customer onboarding journey.

Mobile-Technologies will implement its iRM solution, a certified and globally used digital identification and service enablement solution, to transform the customer onboarding process, as well as its Document Handler, a document management solution for validation, storage, and administration of documents related to the registration process.
The system will streamline the registration process, including capturing and validating identity data, providing automated working flows for verifying the information, securely storing the registration data and onboarding customers for several services. The solution is expected to improve the customer onboarding experience while ensuring continuous alignment and compliance with local regulations.
